Any Architect - De-mystifying architecture |
RSS 2.0 |
This website is for any architect. For the nameless one. For the anonymous architect who gets perplexed in conferences where deep, mystifying thoughts are expressed that only serves to rob the self-esteem of this any architect, as she walks out of the conference thinking that she may have missed something deep and the problem must be with herself. This website is for de-mystifying architecture theory and practice. This website is a bed for an open-source movement in architecture. This website is also for the lay public because we believe that all humans are intrinsincally architects and all are involved in architecture. (Tell me one place on earth, ... even in the entire universe ... where a person can avoid space!)
This website uses a Delphi Method form of discussions, where all are encouraged to develop contents anonymously. The Delphi Method avoids personality conflicts when multiple experts collectively develop a topic. (One of the inventors of the Delphi Method has more details on why The Delphi Method works). In the non-virtual world, the Delphi Method is sometimes criticized that experts may disguise themselves and speak on behalf of the masses. But that cannot happen on this website on the Internet, as absolutely anyone can register themselves and particpate. It would be next to impossible for a person with a vested interest to invent so many identities so as to bias discussions in his/her favor. |
